The Room in 3D Studio

To the left, you can see what my basement currently looks like. The picture on the right is what I designed. I tried to find the same styled couch and keep the TV. Although, in my version of the basement, The television is slightly bigger and is a flat screen.

In my mind, the perfect basement would have very comfortable chairs and a pool table. My basement now, as you can ssee, doesn't have awesome, comfy chairs or a pool table. So, I added them into my 3D Studio design, along with 7 balls and a few different paintings.

In my design, I still have a table and chairs and the carpeting i the same, but my mom's plants and our annoying bird are no longer in the picture. The book shelf has been moved and the board games on it have been replaced with boks. The sliding glass remains.

Here is another view of the couch and TV section. You can see that I still have a picture frame above the couch, but there's no coffee table and no side table. The floor is no longer carpeted. I'm a huge fan of hard wood floors, yet I still wanted a rug under the couch.

The steps go out farther than they really should, som we lost the closet under the stairs,  but the ability to walk under them is still available. I decided not to include the other door ways and doors, in order to provide more space to renovate.

The steps were a challenge for me. I needed to measure the rise and run of the steps and the exact height from the floor above the basement. The railings do not match, but both sets of stairs have 13 steps and the same rise and run. The height was a little off though.

This is an overview of my basement, now colorful and textured. You can see by the book shelf and sliding glass doors the camera that we used to do the virtually tour

Above, you can see the materials I used on my basement furniture. The bright rainbow colors I used on that book shelf and on the balls on the pool table. The woods can be seen all around the room, each being used at least once. The carpet materials were used not only on the rugs, but also on the couch and chairs. The scenic ones were used to make paintings on the walls, to add color and decor to the room. And finally, the most special material, was the Walking Dead one. We had to import it differently and apply it using UVW maps and an Edible Mesh. Because we put it in seperatly and differently, it was allowed to move acorss the TV screen.
